Paul Towers is a self-taught landscape and aerial photographer based in Manhattan Beach, California.
Born and raised in San Diego near Miramar, the original home of Top Gun, Paul grew up in a family rooted in aviation. His father—a Naval Aviator, American Airlines Captain, and Aviation Photographer—inspired a lifelong fascination with flight and the world seen from above. A graduate of Pepperdine University, Paul later earned an FAA Private Pilot Certificate, deepening the connection between a love of aviation and photography.
Traveling to more than 60 countries deepened his eye for landscape, scale, and the relationship between people and place. His work has appeared in galleries and art shows, in Los Angeles Magazine, Malibu Magazine, and ShoutOut LA, and on ABC7 Los Angeles. His photographs have also been displayed by Four Seasons and Thompson Hotel.
